K-pop sensation Felix, a member of Stray Kids, has suffered a fractured bone following a car accident on Saturday night. The incident occurred near the Inspire Resorts Complex on Yeongjong Island, Incheon, when his vehicle collided with a shuttle bus while returning from a fan meeting.
His agency, JYP Entertainment, confirmed the news in an official statement, assuring fans that while the accident was not life-threatening, Felix sustained a broken bone in his hand. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention and has since been advised to rest.
JYP stated, “The accident was not severe, but due to his injury, Felix has been recommended to take a break. He is currently resting at home.”
Due to his condition, Felix will be absent from Stray Kids’ ongoing fan meeting event, which concludes on Sunday. His absence is a blow to fans, as this is the group’s first fan meet in nearly 11 months.
With upcoming tours in Latin America, Japan, North America, and Europe, it remains uncertain when Felix will be able to return to the stage. Fans worldwide are wishing him a speedy recovery.
