Condemning the Brutal Terror Attack in New Delhi and Reaffirming Solidarity Against Cross-Border Terrorism
The Bangladesh Students’ League expresses its deepest condemnation of the horrific terrorist attack that struck New Delhi on 10 November 2025, claiming 13 innocent lives so far and injuring many more. We extend profound sympathy to the bereaved families and pray for the swift recovery of all those wounded in this tragic incident.
This despicable attack near the historic Red Fort is yet another reminder of the brutal and destabilizing agenda pursued by extremist groups operating with ideological and logistical support from Pakistan’s long-standing terror infrastructure. For decades, Pakistan’s security establishment has sponsored, trained, and deployed cross-border militant outfits as instruments of coercion against its neighbours, undermining peace across the Subcontinent and endangering the lives of ordinary citizens.
The Bangladesh Students’ League strongly denounces these state-sheltered networks, including their ideological affiliates, conduits, and sympathizers operating in different countries and calls for their complete dismantling. The pattern of coordinated attacks reflects a well-recognized strategy: exporting militancy to destabilize democracies, fracture social harmony, and disrupt regional stability. Such tactics are an affront to international law and a grave betrayal of humanitarian norms.
We reiterate that terrorism, extremism, radicalism, and militancy regardless of geography or ideological disguise, have no legitimacy in a civilized and rules-based world. Any political or social actor in the Subcontinent or beyond who assists, excuses, or aligns with these forces stands against humanity, against justice, and against the collective aspirations of the people of Subcontinent.
The Bangladesh Students’ League stands firmly with the people of India in this painful moment. We assure our unwavering solidarity and pledge all forms of principled support in the broader struggle to eradicate terrorism from the region. The pursuit of peace, security, and democratic stability is inseparable from the collective resistance to violent extremism, and we remain committed to strengthening the bonds of friendship between the peoples of Bangladesh and India.
The BSL reiterates its conviction that the defeat of terrorism is essential for protecting human rights, defending democracies, and ensuring a safer future for the next generation across the Subcontinent.
