The President of the Awami League and Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, has appealed to the public to grant her another opportunity for service voting for the boat symbol in the upcoming January 7 election. On Tuesday (December 26, 2023), Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina conducted an election tour in Rangpur, participating in the upcoming 12th Parliament election rally.

Upon the Prime Minister’s arrival and the daughter-in-law of Pirganj, an extensive campaign, including decorations, posters, and public announcements, covered the entire upazila. Sheikh Hasina, the Awami League president, arrived at Taraganj at 11:50 am. Throughout Tuesday morning, Awami League leaders and activists gathered at Taraganj College ground for the public meeting. As the day progressed, the entire field became crowded with the presence of leaders and workers.
PM’s Rangpur Campaign Details
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also serving as the President of the Awami League, visited Rangpur to campaign and garner votes for the upcoming 12th parliamentary elections. Departing from her official residence, Ganabhavan, at 10 am, she arrived at Syedpur airport by air at 11:30 pm. By 11:50 am, she reached the gathering site at Taraganj Waqf Estate Government College ground.
During the visit, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged the public to grant her another opportunity to serve by voting for the boat symbol in the forthcoming January 7 elections. Additionally, on December 23, she conducted virtual election rallies across six districts, including Public Library Field in Kushtia, Wazir Ali School and College Field in Jhenaidah, Satkhira Government High School in Satkhira, Zilla Stadium in Netrokona, and Sheikh Russell Stadium in Rangamati district, as well as Bamna and Patharghata upazilas in Barguna district, all coordinated from the Bangladesh Awami League Office. Furthermore, on December 21, she addressed election rallies in five districts—Panchagarh, Lalmonirhat, Natore, Pabna, and Khagracchari—via a virtual platform from the Awami League Office at Tejgaon.
