Bangladesh will step into the 53rd year of its grand victory on December 16th. To celebrate this momentous occasion, a spectacular concert is scheduled for Friday, December 15th, at the cargo parking area of Jamuna Future Park. Details of the event were announced at a press conference on Tuesday evening at Jamuna Future Park’s Players Club.
The concert, titled “Bijoy Ullash”, will run from 2 PM to 10 PM under the slogan ‘Know the History, Celebrate the Victory’, organized by the Tan-Rat Institute. This open-air concert will feature performances by popular bands such as Warfaze, Artcell, Meghdol, AvoidRafa, and Ashes, along with War Sight, After the Apocalypse, Oindrila, Nibhania, Alekha, Band Hub, and artist Pritom Hasan.
Present at the conference were Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain (Advisor and Patron of the Bijoy Ullash Concert and a member of the Bangladesh University Grants Commission), Dr. Mohammad Alamgir Alam (Director of Marketing and Sales, Jamuna Builders), Shammim Ara Hossain (Vice Chancellor of Sonargaon University), Dr. Abu Taher (Associate Professor and Chairman, Department of Industrial and Production Engineering, European University of Bangladesh), Chanjoe Zhiu Jim (Provost and Registrar, USI University), Professor Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir (Vice Chancellor of Premier University), and Antu Karim (Head of Pentagon Group).
The aim of the event is to celebrate our national pride in victory with the youth, while spreading the values of democracy and patriotism. In collaboration with the Education, Research, and Development Forum of Bangladesh (ERDFB), the arrangement of the Bijoy Ullash is taking place. Key sponsors and partners include Campaign Advocacy Program (CAP) and Press Xpress.
The organizers expect over 10,000 music enthusiasts to attend the concert. General tickets are priced at 500 Taka, with a discount for the first 2,000 visitors, who can purchase tickets at 300 Taka. VIP tickets are priced at 1,000 Taka, with the first 500 available at a discounted rate of 800 Taka. The concert will conclude with a mobile flashing event.
