Cristiano Ronaldo has once again proven that his style is as iconic off the field as it is on it. The Portuguese legend spent Christmas with his family in Lapland, Finland, famously known as Santa Claus’s homeland. While most people celebrate the season with cozy gatherings, Ronaldo took it to a frosty extreme by plunging bare-chested into icy waters.
With temperatures ranging between -16°C and -30°C, the challenge was no small feat. Ronaldo’s son, wrapped warmly in winter clothes, looked on, clearly not interested in joining the dare. Emerging from the freezing water, Ronaldo posted a photo captioned, “Merry Christmas to everyone,” sharing his frosty adventure with millions of fans on Instagram.
The Al-Nassr star also enjoyed other winter delights, like snowmobiling through Lapland’s snowy paths with his son. However, he refrained from high-risk activities due to his club’s contract terms, which discourage anything that might lead to injury.
Currently on a break from the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo will return to action on January 9 against Al-Okhdood. Despite scoring 16 goals in 19 matches this season, Al-Nassr is trailing by 11 points in the league title race.
Ronaldo’s Christmas is yet another testament to his fearless and unique personality!
