A passenger flight heading towards a mountainous area of Nepal has gone missing today with 22 people this time on board, sources concerned have confirmed.
The plane, which was on a 15-minute scheduled flight, lost contact with the airport tower shortly after take-off. The aircraft took off from the western town of Pokhara, Nepal in morning, but soon lost contact with the air traffic control.
Sudarshan Bartaula, spokesman for Tara Air said, “A domestic flight bound for Jomsom from Pokhara has lost contact. There were 19 passengers on board and three crew members.”
Nepal has proved to be a hotspot in recent years for plane crash and missing cases.
