The secondary school certificate (SSC) examinations of 2023 will be held in the month of April, while the higher secondary certificate (HSC) examinations will be held in June. Education Minister Dipu Moni revealed this just a while ago.
“SSC, Dakhil and equivalent examinations of 2023 will be held in April with the HSC, Alim and equivalent examinations scheduled in June,” she informed journalists while addressing a press conference in the Education Ministry’s conference room at the Secretariat today (on April 12).
She, however, said the decision over this year’s junior school certificate (JSC) examinations is yet to be taken. The SSC exams are usually taken in February every year with the HSC exams being a June fixture. But the pandemic has changed the overall scenario.
Exams in short syllabus
Dipu Moni also said the SSC and HSC exams next year will be held in the short syllabuses.
“SSC, Dakhil and equivalent examinations of 2023 will be held as per the restructured and reduced syllabus announced for the examinations of 2022. The exam will be held in all subjects and carry full marks.”
