The World Health Organization (WHO) has come up with an observation saying that the level of infection can be mild or severe based to the type of Covid-19 variant.
Omicron infection can even lead the affected person to death quickly. In such a situation, the WHO has advised people to follow some specific health rules to stay protected from the variant.According to a report by Media Live Mint, WHO made six suggestions to stay safe from the omicron variant of Covid-19.
These include:
• Getting vaccinated,
• Avoiding crowds,
• Keeping a safe distance,
• Wearing a good mask,
• Washing hands frequently and
• Covering face when sneezing or coughing.
WHO has warned that, there is no room for complacency. “It’s less serious than Delta, but we have also seen a significant number of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis being hospitalized.
We have already said that a significant number of people are dying. This is not a common cold problem, nor is it influenza. We really need to be careful now.
“The World Health Organization’s previous weekly report on the Covid-19 situation said that more than 1.7 million people worldwide were newly infected with corona last week. About eight thousand people have died.
WHO estimates that the number of cases of Covid-19 infection may be declining due to a decrease in the number of coronavirus tests worldwide.
