Beginning in 2023, educational institutions will be able to enjoy two-day weekends.

Teachers and students in primary and secondary schools across the country will have a two-day weekly break on Friday and Saturday starting in 2023, according to Education Minister Dipu Moni.

“At the university level, there is a two-day weekend. When we met with the prime minister to discuss a national curriculum, we suggested that the weekly holiday be extended to two days for secondary, higher secondary, and higher education. I hope that by 2023, all educational institutions across the country will be able to take advantage of the two-day holiday “she continued.

  • Primary and secondary schools across the country will have a two-day weekly break on Friday and Saturday starting in 2023
  • Students will have more time to spend with their families and their extracurricular activities will improve.
  • The piloting program for the new national curriculum will begin on February 22 at 62 educational institutions

Total educational vacations in 2022 will be 110 days, but students will receive an additional 52 days starting in 2023. As a result, students will have more time to spend with their families and their extracurricular activities will improve.
