Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has once again used the drawings of special children in her greetings on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Fitr and Bengali New Year.
This time, the drawings of 11 special children have been used in her official greeting cards marking the Eid while 15 more have been used for greeting people on the occasion of Bengali New Year 1429.
The PM sent her official greetings of Eid and New Year with various drawings and paintings by autistic/disabled children collected from across the country. Each artist of the selected drawings has been paid a greeting fee of one lakh taka.
Assistant Press Secretary-1 to the Prime Minister MM Imrul Kayes shared the information on Monday through a status using his verified Facebook account.
Imrul Kayes has disclosed the fact that the PM has been using various drawings/ paintings/ artwork by autistic/disabled children collected from all over the country marking different festivals like Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, Pahela Boishakh (Bengali New Year) and English New Year since she assumed the office of the Prime Minister back in 2009.
In his Facebook status, he also said that the Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina being the daughter of Bangabandhu sent the greetings card inscribed with the drawings of special children to the Speaker of the National Parliament, Chief Justice, Ministers, Members of Parliament, political leaders, eminent citizens, professionals, military/public officials, Ambassadors/High Commissioners of different countries, heads of international organisations and the heads of states that Bangladesh have diplomatic relations with.
