Bollywood icon Saif Ali Khan is on the mend after a harrowing attack in his Bandra apartment. Following significant improvement in his condition, Saif has been moved from the ICU to a regular hospital room. Doctors have expressed optimism about his recovery, reporting that he is walking and experiencing minimal pain.
The attack occurred last Wednesday night when Saif was assaulted in his 11th-floor flat, suffering six stab wounds. After a grueling five-hour surgery at Lilavati Hospital, he was admitted to the ICU. Dr. Nitin Narayan Dange later confirmed that Saif’s condition is now stable, with no complications.
Hospital COO Neeraj Uttamni revealed chilling details: the knife wounds came within two millimeters of Saif’s central nervous system. “Had the blade penetrated any deeper, the outcome could have been catastrophic. His survival is nothing short of miraculous,” Uttamni remarked, adding that Saif’s determination and strength were evident when he walked into the hospital holding his son Taimur’s hand.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have detained a suspect based on CCTV footage. Reports indicate the individual fled via a local train toward Vasai-Virar after the attack. Following extensive searches in the area, the police managed to apprehend him. A portion of the knife used in the attack has also been recovered, with efforts underway to locate the remaining part.
In a heartfelt post, Kareena Kapoor Khan urged the media to refrain from spreading rumors, emphasizing the family’s need for privacy. “This has been an incredibly challenging time. Please respect our space,” she appealed.
Saif’s resilience amidst such adversity underscores his true heroism, both on-screen and off.
