The body of A Bangladeshi police official, Al Amin was discovered hanging inside his office room at the Jajira Police Station complex in Shariatpur, Bangladesh, on Thursday, January 9.
The body was recovered from his office on the third floor of the station building around 1 PM local time.
District Superintendent of Police Nazrul Islam confirmed the discovery, stating, “Upon receiving the report, we recovered the body from his office room. Initial investigations suggest it may be a suicide, but the exact cause remains unclear. Further details will be confirmed after the post-mortem examination.”
Authorities have launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the officer’s death, with the autopsy expected to clarify the cause further.
