Samson and Tilak Power India to Series Victory

India showcased an unforgettable batting masterclass in the fourth T20 against South Africa, piling up a staggering 283 runs for the loss of just one wicket in 20 overs. Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma unleashed sheer carnage, leaving the South African bowlers helpless as boundaries rained down. 

South Africa’s chase began disastrously, with four wickets falling for just 10 runs. The early collapse made it clear that India was heading for a massive victory. Despite a resilient 86-run partnership between Tristan Stubbs and David Miller, South Africa crumbled for 148 runs, handing India a resounding 135-run win. 

With this triumph, India claimed the four-match series 3-1. It marked only the second time India has won a T20 series in South Africa, the first being in 2018 under Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. This time, it was Suryakumar Yadav’s leadership that brought glory. 

Adding to South Africa’s misery, this defeat became their worst-ever in T20 cricket by runs, surpassing a 111-run loss to Australia last year. India’s dominance in T20 cricket continues to soar with this emphatic
