Weeks after his stunning 111 against Bangladesh, Samson smashed 107 off just 50 balls today, hitting 10 sixes and 7 fours, becoming the first Indian to score back-to-back T20 centuries.
India set a formidable target of 202, thanks to Samson’s incredible knock and a quick 33 off 18 balls from Tilak Varma. Despite a strong start, India managed only 34 runs in the final five overs, but the score proved more than enough for South Africa.
In reply, South Africa couldn’t handle India’s bowling attack and was bowled out for 141 runs.
