An unidentified flying object (UFO) has this time been sighted over the sea off the port city of Qingdao, which is close to the Bohai Sea.
Chinese authorities have confirmed this, saying that Beijing wants to take the UFO out of the sky – thereby following the example of the USA.
According to Hong Kong-based daily newspaper Global Times, China is preparing to shoot down the object. The media report, citing a local shipping authority, said the mysterious flying object was sighted on Sunday off the waters of the prefecture-level city of Rizhao in Shandong province. Shanghai-based news outlet “The Paper” also reported the same on Sunday.

At first, there was no further information as to what kind of flying object it was. The news was the most discussed topic in China’s social media on Sunday evening. Within a few hours, several million users clicked on the corresponding hashtag within a few hours on the online platform “Weibo” alone.
A message was sent to nearby fishermen to pay special attention to their safety. China is apparently preparing to shoot down an unknown flying object that authorities say is currently flying over the sea off the port city of Qingdao.
Meanwhile, another object has been spotted in the North American skies on 12th February. The object was an octagonal one, which was spotted 20,000 meters above the waters of Lake Huron. It was shot down by a US military fighter jet on Sunday. It was the fourth UFO to be spotted and shot down by an US missile in North American skies over a little more than a week’s time.
